I bought the Seiko Kinetic 100M a few years ago. I have contacted customer service for the fourth time because the watch keeps stopping.

I have sent it in three times in the past with always the same instructions. Shake the watch 300 or 400 times each night or for 5 minutes. I have done this each time and frankly I think Seiko should notify you with a set of instructions that pure torture will be involved. I have complained several times that the watch is defective and they keep sending me the same reply...shake for 300 to 400 hundred time or 5 minutes.

If you think 5 minutes is a short time try shaking just your wrist for 5 minutes. A customer should be warned that manual labor is expected when you buy this watch.
